Insurance

At Sunsation Eyewear, we understand that the expense of regular eye examinations and prescription eyewear can be overwhelming. We are a family-friendly practice, and we’re aware of the high cost of caring well for everyone’s eyes and vision. Fortunately, vision insurance and health insurance may be able to decrease your annual expenses.

Our optometrists, Dr. Ezra Cohen and Dr. Haim Cohen, encourage you to understand your insurance plan and to make the most of it. It’s important to be aware of the differences between a vision insurance policy vs. a health insurance policy. Vision insurance is a benefit for wellness, designed to offer discounts on routine eye care needs, prescription eyeglasses and other vision-related services. On the other hand, health insurance plans will provide coverage for unexpected eye injuries or ocular disease management, to prevent against financial loss.

We have been providing a total range of eye care services in south-central Brooklyn, New York, for over 35 years. Our eye doctors, Dr. Cohen & Dr. Cohen, offer medical services and routine eye care, depending upon your personal requirements. We have plenty of experience with insurance plans, and if you have questions about your policy – please contact our staff at Sunsation Eyewear.
